The Financial Times, a major British business magazine, recently revealed their list of ‘The FT’s 25 Most Influential Women of 2023’. aespa was recognized in the creator category alongside iconic figures like Beyonce, Margot Robbie, and Phoebe Philo.

The Financial Times reached out to reporters, readers, and industry leaders from all over to find the most influential women on the international stage. aespa, the only K-pop artist selected, made the cut.

The Financial Times recognized aespa’s incredible achievements. They mentioned how while boy groups dominate the Korean charts, girl groups like aespa are making their mark and creating a new craze. 

aespa’s accomplishments are truly impressive, from attending Coachella to embarking on a world tour. Their albums have been breaking records, with three consecutive releases surpassing 1 million copies in the first week. 

Moreover, the magazine praised aespa for pushing the boundaries of K-pop with their experimental sound, layered instruments, and passionate vocals. 

aespa’s fourth mini-album, Drama, was released on November 10 and it’s been a huge success. Not only did it top the major domestic music charts, but it also claimed the number one spot on music shows.
