Na Young Seok’s hit variety show The Game Caterers is reportedly gearing up for a special episode featuring JYP Entertainment artists. According to a Newsen report on September 9, filming will soon take place, and the episode will be released later on Channel Full Moon’s official YouTube channel.
Produced by Na PD’s company EggisComing and directed by PD Shin Hyo Jung, the program has earned attention for its unique “delivery service” concept.
Instead of bringing celebrities into a studio, Na PD and his team visit drama sets, companies, and agencies with games designed to break the ice and bring out participants’ natural personalities. Since its launch in 2021, The Game Caterers has built a reputation for turning competitive missions into laugh-out-loud moments.
JYP Entertainment has one of the most diverse lineups in K-pop, which makes this special especially exciting. The JYP lineup spans multiple generations, including 2PM’s seasoned members Jun. K, Wooyoung, and Nichkhun, and rock band DAY6. In addition, it includes global stars TWICE, Stray Kids, ITZY, and rising teams like NMIXX, Xdinary Heroes, and Kickflip.
Fans are already curious about how seniors and rookies will interact once the games begin, and which unexpected pairings might create viral moments.
The show has a history of memorable agency specials. The HYBE Labels edition in 2022 included SEVENTEEN, TXT, ENHYPEN, fromis_9, and LE SSERAFIM, producing viral moments such as the “Red HYBE, Green HYBE” game.
The Starship special featured MONSTA X, IVE, and CRAVITY, while SM Entertainment’s episode last year highlighted its vast lineup, including members of NCT, SHINee, RIIIZE, and aespa. Each one proved how well the format works when entire companies join in.
Not to mention, The Game Caterers episodes featuring SEVENTEEN and BTS racked up huge views on YouTube. Following its success, Na PD later reunited with SEVENTEEN for additional projects.
Fans can expect many of the show’s signature games to return, such as the Character Quiz, Shout in Silence, and Random Play Dance. JYP-themed challenges are anticipated, with playful nods to hit tracks like TWICE’s “Fancy” or Stray Kids’ “God’s Menu” expected to make an appearance.
The JYP Entertainment special is set to bring together some of the most popular names in the industry under one roof. If past agency episodes are anything to go by, viewers can expect high energy, unexpected partnerships, and plenty of moments that fans will be replaying long after the episode airs.
