K-pop group The KingDom is undergoing a temporary change. Members Arthur and Ivan will be taking a break from group activities to focus on solo pursuits abroad. The remaining members will continue as a four-piece ensemble for the time being.
On January 20, GF Entertainment released a statement, stating, “We sincerely thank all the fans who love The KingDom. We would like to inform you that The KingDom members Arthur and Ivan will be appearing on an overseas program.”
The label added, “Accordingly, The KingDom will be promoting as a four-member group for the time being. We ask for your warm support and encouragement for the members of The KingDom.
Also, Arthur and Ivan’s Weverse DM will end on February 14, 2025 (Friday) at 15:00 (KST).”
GF Entertainment did not reveal information about the program on which Arthur and Ivan will appear. It is bittersweet news for KINGMAKERs (fandom) as they will miss the full-group activities. However, they are excited to see them flaunt their talents at an overseas program.
In early 2024, the agency changed the group’s name from KINGDOM to The KingDom and released their 8th mini-album “Realize”.
