On February 13, KBS announced that “Lee Young Ji’s Rainbow” will wrap up with its final recording on February 18. Lee took the reins as the show’s new host last September and has been charming audiences for five months.

In addition, she personally shared the news of the final recording on her Instagram account a day earlier, posting a script with a heartfelt message. She wrote, “Next week will be the last episode of ‘Lee Young Ji’s Rainbow’… I have prepared something special for our final Friday night together, so please tune in!”

The 22-year-old rapper brought her unique energy to the show as its MC for five months. She charmed audiences with her cheerful personality and musical talent. In addition, she interviewed a talented lineup of guests.

These included K-pop stars like BLACKPINK’s Rosé, IVE, and BSS, as well as actors Song Joong Ki, Park Jeong Min, and Kim Min Ha, who made rare music show appearances.

KBS’s “The Seasons” made history as the network’s first late-night music program to adopt a seasonal format. Since its debut with “Jay Park’s Drive” in February 2023, the show has featured a diverse range of musician-hosts, including:

  • Choi Jung Hoon’s Night Park
  • AKMU’s Long Day, Long Night
  • Lee Hyori’s Red Carpet
  • Zico’s Artist
  • Lee Young Ji’s Rainbow

Looking ahead, a KBS official confirmed that another season of “The Seasons” is already in the works.
