It all started as a joke on social media. Anytime a celebrity is spotted in a sharp outfit, fans have started saying, “They must be filming The Devil Wears Prada 2.” V, known for his effortless style, naturally became a top target of this meme.

The actual sequel to The Devil Wears Prada is currently in production in New York City. This isn’t the first time V has been caught in casting rumors. Earlier this year, fans speculated that he might appear in Squid Game Season 3. But again, no official source confirmed this. The finale premiered in late June, and V was not part of it.
V was officially discharged from the South Korean military on June 10, 2025, after serving in the elite Special Duty Team (SDT). Soon after, he traveled to Paris for the Celine Fashion Show. The 29-year-old singer then headed to Los Angeles to catch up with BTS members and work on the group’s forthcoming album.
On July 28, he made a surprise return to Korea to attend a junior comrade’s discharge ceremony at his SDT base. He is expected to return overseas soon, though his exact schedule remains private.
