TWICE delighted fans (ONCE) with a surprise album announcement.
On May 19 at midnight (KST), JYP Entertainment dropped the “INTRO” teaser for their upcoming 4th studio album “FOUR” on all social media channels.
The intriguing teaser shows all TWICE members in identical blue dresses with the word “FOUR” written on them. This July comeback is happening around 8 months after they dropped their 14th mini-album “Strategy” on December 6, 2024.
The nine-member K-pop group made waves with their collaboration with American rapper Megan Thee Stallion on the title track. The album sold 729,581 copies in the first week. “Strategy” debuted at #4 on Billboard’s main album chart, Billboard 200, their sixth consecutive album to enter the top 10 on the chart.
Notably, TWICE will release their 4th studio album “FOUR,” nearly 4 years after the release of their 3rd full album “Formula of Love: O+T=<3” in November 2021.
The Jihyo-led K-pop girl group has been quite active in the music scene since their debut in 2015. Last year, Nayeon made her first-ever comeback with “NA” in June 2024 while the maknae of the group, Tzuyu, made her solo debut in September last year. Member Dahyun focused on acting ventures with the release of the Korean remake of “You Are Apple of My Eye,” released on February 21, 2025.
It is expected that TWICE will release new music, embark on a world tour, and solo music from members. They kicked off 2025 on a high note as they performed at Coldplay’s concert in Korea and released a Korean version of their hit song “We Pray” last month.
They will perform at Lollapalooza Chicago on Saturday, August 2, at Grant Park. In addition, they earned a nomination for Favorite Music Group at the 2025 Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards.
Meanwhile, TWICE and JYP Entertainment have yet to reveal the release date for their 4th full album “FOUR”.
