Korean artists are mourning the loss of talented actor Song Jae Rim, and TWICE is among those paying tribute. The group has put their promotional activities on hold as a sign of respect for the late actor.
JYP Entertainment released a statement on November 13, announcing the postponement of TWICE’s Concept Photo #1. Originally scheduled for release at midnight on November 13, it will now drop at midnight on November 14.
According to the timetable released for their 14th mini-album, the first set of concept photos was scheduled to be released on November 13. Their album “STRATEGY” will drop on December 6.
However, after actor Song Jae Rim’s tragic passing, the agency delayed the release by a day.
He was found dead at his residence in Seongdong-gu, Seoul, on November 12 at approximately 12:30 p.m. A friend, who had planned to meet him for lunch, found his body and alerted the authorities.
According to police officials, there were no signs of foul play or suspicious circumstances, and a suicide note was recovered at the scene.
Song Jae Rim’s funeral services have been arranged at the St. Mary’s Hospital funeral hall in Yeouido, Seoul. The funeral ceremony will take place on November 14 at 12:00 pm, followed by cremation at the Seoul Metropolitan Crematorium.
