TWICE’s Dahyun and Jung Jinyoung look so dreamy in the first glimpse of the upcoming movie You Are The Apple of My Eye.
On June 10, Studio Take shared the first look of the Korean remake of the movie You Are The Apple of My Eye featuring Dahyun and Jinyoung.
Dressed in a school uniform, the duo has fans swooning over them.
The Taiwanese and Japanese remake of You Are The Apple of My Eye has already won hearts with its poignant coming-of-age story and sweet romance.
Now, the highly anticipated Korean adaptation is set to swoon audiences with TWICE’s Dahyun and Jung Jinyoung bringing the lead characters to life.
It is based on the 2006 novel by Giddens Ko. In this romantic coming-of-age tale, Ko-Teng’s friends are all vying for the attention of Shen Chia-Yi, and they collectively switch to the same senior high school to be near her.
Ko-Teng, a bit of a troublemaker, is seated next to Shen, the top student, by their teacher, who hopes she can keep him on track. Initially, they don’t click, but Ko-Teng eventually develops feelings for Shen, who constantly pushes him to excel academically.
Meanwhile, Shen admires Ko-Teng’s carefree nature, which differs from her own driven personality. As Ko-Teng tries to win Shen’s heart, she remains unsure, leading to a charming and relatable exploration of first love and teenage angst.
Dahyun and Jinyoung are playing the lead in the film as Chen Chia Yi and Ko Teng.
On another note, Dahyun will be busy this year with acting ventures as she’s set to appear in the sports independent feature film, Sprint.
