TWICE’s Dahyun is making headlines with a surprise double debut on the big screen!

The K-pop star has announced that she will be appearing in not one, but two movies.

On May 13, a Korean media outlet reported that she was cast as the female lead in the Korean Remake of You Are the Apple of My Eye.

JYP Entertainment has confirmed that she has received the offer to play the lead role and is positively considering it.

This new adaptation of the Taiwanese film You Are the Apple of My Eye is bringing a fresh twist to a classic romance story.

The 2011 original, directed by Giddens Ko, won hearts with its relatable portrayal of first love and young romance. The movie follows the journey of two high school classmates, Ko Ching-teng and Shen Chia-yi, as they navigate their blossoming relationship from friendship to something more.

Dahyun is taking on the iconic role of the honor student, a character beloved by all for her kindness and grace, inspired by the original’s Shen Chia-yi.

This marks a major milestone in Dahyun’s acting journey, as she brings to life a character deeply cherished by fans of the original film.

Lastly, Dahyun officially announced her involvement in the upcoming independent film Sprint, marking her first venture into the world of acting.
