In its first week, TWICE’s THIS IS FOR sold an impressive 609,415 copies. It became the group’s fourth-highest first-week sales, following With YOU-th (1,063,615), STRATEGY (729,581), and READY TO BE (651,205).

The album kicked off with 436,956 sales on its first day and saw notable surges on days four and six, with 116,084 and 37,583 copies sold. According to chart predictors, it is expected to debut at No.6 on the Billboard 200 with 83K units sold.

Internationally, the album and lead single debuted at #2 and #9 on the Worldwide iTunes Album chart and Worldwide iTunes Song chart. THIS IS FOR debuted at #6 on European iTunes and reached #1 in 15 countries and peaking at #5 on US iTunes.

TWICE’s new album featured 16 songs, including a lead single of the same title and its extended version, unit songs, and a deluxe version of Jihyo, Jeongyeon, and Chaeyoung’s TAKEDOWN, part of the soundtrack of the Netflix film KPop Demon Hunter. It recently entered the HOT 100 as well, the first-ever entry by a TWICE sub-unit.

This October, the group celebrates 10 years since their debut, having enjoyed a strong run with successful releases and no scandals. Besides releasing a Korean album, TWICE will make a Japanese comeback with a full album, Enemy, coming out on August 27.

Meanwhile, TWICE will meet fans this year with a massive world tour, THIS IS FOR, kicking off in Korea this weekend. They will head to Japan next with shows in Osaka (July 26-27), Aichi (August 23-24), Fukuoka (August 30-31), and Tokyo (September 16-17). In addition to the exciting world tour, TWICE will headline Lollapalooza Chicago next month as well.
