TWS’ Sparkling Blue is making waves in the music scene even after two months since its release. Their first album flew off the shelves, selling over 400,000 copies. Even after their official activities wrapped up, they’re still making waves by dominating music broadcasts.
According to the Hanteo Chart, TWS’ first mini-album Sparkling Blue sold a total of 406,262 copies as of March 21. This includes sales from both the general market and the Weverse section.
When the album was released on January 22 this year, it initially sold 260,881 copies in the first week. This means that an additional 145,000 copies were sold in less than two months after the initial release.
Even after TWS wrapped up their activities, their song plot twist took the top spot on SBS’s Inkigayo on March 24. With their debut album, TWS secured a total of 5 music show wins.
plot twist continues to shine by leading daily charts like Bugs and Apple Music Korea, maintaining top positions on major domestic and international music charts including Melon, Bugs, Flo, Genie, and YouTube Music.
In February last year, less than a month after their debut, they revealed plans for international ventures by securing agreements with Geffen Records, a subsidiary of Universal Music Group (UMG), and Virgin Music.
