Although BIGHIT MUSIC has not officially confirmed the format of the release, TXT has been dropping hints and teasers about their upcoming release on May 2.

On April 5 (local), the 5-member K-pop group headlined Mexico’s largest music festival AXE Ceremonia 2025 at Bicentennial Park. About 110,000 attendees gathered to see the group perform their hits.

A huge number of locals and fans in attendance cheered and sang along to their songs. The group’s energetic stage presence and catchy music had the crowd completely enthralled. To top it off, TXT hinted at a possible comeback on May 2.

They were the first K-pop artists to perform at AXE Ceremonia. The group was joined by other talented headlines, Charli XCX, FKA Twigs, Tyler, the Creator, Massive Attack, and Natanael Cano.

TXT performed over 20 tracks and a cover song for the enthusiastic crowd. They performed their iconic hits such as “Resist”, “Back For More”, “Quarter Life”, “Deja Vu”, “Sugar Rush Ride”, “Blue Hour”, “Over The Moon” and more.

After their performance, they played a teaser titled “What’s Your Love Language?” with May 2 as release day. A similar teaser was played at ACT: PROMISE EP. 2 IN INCHEON and even in some April Fools’ Day Instagram posts. Some fans suspect a pre-release single might drop on May 2, possibly with a Latin-American artist.

However, their packed concert schedule in May suggests the actual comeback might be at a different time. TXT will tour Asian and Japanese cities in May as part of their world tour “ACT: PROMISE EP.2”, starting with three shows in Macau on May 9-11. Following that, they will tour Osaka (May 17-18) and Tokyo (May 24-25).

Meanwhile, TXT dropped their 7th mini-album “The Star Chapter: SANCTUARY” in November last year. They went on hiatus on January 5 after their performance at the 39th Golden Disc Awards to rest and recharge. The group has now resumed activities and celebrated their 6th debut anniversary last month.
