TXT’s latest Japanese single, CHIKAI, debuted at number one on the Oricon chart, selling an impressive 309,822 copies on its first day of release.

This achievement surpasses their previous record of 279,807 copies set by their third Japanese single, GOOD BOY GONE BAD, in 2022.

The music video for We’ll Never Change combines poignant lyrics, a captivating melody, and evocative visuals. Following its release, the video swiftly climbed the Line Music real-time chart, securing the top spot just hours after release.

At the time of writing, the music video of We’ll Never Change has garnered 1.2 million views on YouTube.

TXT has lined up a series of high-profile performances in Japan to promote CHIKAI. They’ll be appearing on prominent music shows like NTV’s THE MUSIC DAY 2024 on July 6 and TBS’ Ongaku no Hi 2024 (Music Day 2024) on July 13.

In addition, they will perform at a live outdoor concert, Mezamashi Live, hosted by Fuji TV on August 12.

Currently, all members including Beomgyu, who is on hiatus due to an ankle injury, are in Japan for promotional activities.
