Soobin from TXT has added an extra dose of romance and excitement to Valentine’s Day with his latest cover song, Forest by Choi Yuree.
The TXT leader had previously teased MOAs by promising a Valentine’s Day cover, but kept the song choice a secret until the release.
Soobin shared on Weverse that he’ll be going live on February 14 and has a surprise present in store for everyone.
Just hours before the release, Soobin got everyone hyped up by sharing three photos on Weverse with a caption that said, “See you at midnight.”
An hour before the release, it was revealed on TXT’s official accounts that he will be covering Choi Yuree’s Forest.
Released in 2022, the song was originally sung by Choi Yuree, the 25-year-old South Korean singer and songwriter, and now covered by Soobin.
His warm vocals really brought a whole new level of depth and charm to the song. Soobin didn’t just drop an audio cover, he went all out to give MOAs a special treat. He surprised everyone with a video where he’s hanging out in his cozy bedroom and even enjoying some beach time.
MOAs were happy with Soobin’s song choice because he didn’t go for a generic popular song. Instead, he picked one with meaningful and soulful lyrics.
