Following Stray Kids and IVE, TXT’s Taehyun is the next K-pop star to sing an OST for a Japanese drama this year.
The 22-year-old idol will be collaborating with the Japanese singer and actor Tomohisa Yamashita for the OST.
Taehyun joined as a featured artist for the OST Perfect Storm (feat. Taehyun of TOMORROW X TOGETHER ) for the Japanese drama, Blue Moment. This OST sung by Taehyun and Tomohisa Yamashita is set to be included from Blue Moment’s first episode.
Tomohisa Yamashita, who also wrote the lyrics for the song, shared, “It is a song that contains hope that no matter how dark the clouds are, there is light above them.”
On the other hand, TXT vocalist also expressed his joy at being part of a song featured in a drama starring Tomohisa Yamashita, a renowned singer and actor in Japan.
The drama Blue Moment portrays the challenges faced by the Special Disaster Response Headquarters as they bravely risk their lives to safeguard people endangered by weather calamities.
This show is gaining significant local interest as it will air during prime time (7-11 PM), which attracts more viewers compared to other time slots.
Blue Moment 1st episode will premiere today (April 24) as well as the song, Perfect Song is set to be released on the same day.
