On December 26, UMI and BTS’ V announced a collab with their upcoming single ‘Wherever u r’.
Previously, V from BTS teased a video clip of himself singing this song during a Q&A session on Instagram. Fans do not have to wait anymore as the title of the song and release date is announced.
V stans are super hyped since it is his first collab outside of BTS and the single is releasing a day after his birthday.
UMI mentioned that the theme of the song is about long-distance love and how it relates to Taehyung’s fans. The announcement video even shows Umi and V FaceTiming each other to depict the challenges of being separated by distance.
Even though BTS members are serving in the military, they are treating fans with new music constantly.
Previously, Jimin released a fan song, Closer Than This, which caused quite a stir.
Besides that, V will be appearing in IU’s comeback video and she dropped some spoilers about that in her latest vlog.
UMI and V’s Wherever u r is slated for December 31.
