UNIS’ Kotoko collapsed on stage during a recent performance and was rushed to the hospital. Fans and fellow members were left concerned and sent support and well wishes.
On August 3, F&F Entertainment issued an official statement regarding her health scare, stating, “ During the performance of the ‘2024 Midsummer Night’s Cultural Festival: Mini K-POP Concert’ held in Haenam today, member Kotoko fainted and the performance was stopped.
The artist was immediately taken to the hospital for examination and is currently in stable condition at the hospital. We apologize for any inconvenience caused to fans, and we will do our best to prioritize the artist’s condition.”
UNIS is an 8-member girl group formed through SBS’s talent show ‘Universe Ticket’. Kotoko, a Japanese member, secured her spot in the group by ranking 8th in the competition and has since debuted as a member of UNIS.
On the work front, UNIS is gearing up for their first comeback with debut single, CURIOUS, scheduled for August 6. They debuted in March this year with a mini album, WE UNIS.
