VANNER’s Hyesung will be temporarily stepping away from the limelight to fulfill his military duty!
On October 17, KLAP Entertainment announced the news of his impending military enlistment, stating, “VANNER member Hyesung will receive basic military training at the training camp on November 4th and will fulfill his national defense duty as an active-duty soldier in the army.”
The label further shared, “There will be no official events on the day of his enlistment, and we kindly ask fans to refrain from visiting the training camp to prevent overcrowding and ensure safety.”
Regarding his upcoming schedule, KLAP Entertainment stated, “Hyesung will participate in all scheduled activities until his enlistment. We ask for your continued support and love until Hyesung completes his military service and returns healthy.”
He has been active as a member of the boy group VANNER since his debut in 2019. His bandmate, Sungkook, enlisted in the military earlier this year on May 7. The leader of the group Taehwan received a military service exemption as he is listed as a “sole provider” of the household after his father’s unexpected passing in 2017.
