It’s been a few eventful days for Lucas fans as the former NCT member opened his social media accounts previously, hinting at a possible comeback. To fuel the speculations further, SM Entertainment released a new profile photo for Lucas.
On February 24, a documentary titled Freeze was released where the K-pop star is seen reflecting on his past actions. At the beginning of the documentary, he expressed his hesitation by saying, “I don’t know how to begin, I have to find a way to convey my thoughts in the best possible way. I’ll have to talk wisely.”
For those versed, Lucas left NCT in May last year after getting embroiled in a controversy surrounding his personal life. After 9 months, he was active and this documentary, Freeze, is the first project released, breaking months-long hiatus.
He confessed, “I used to be quite the aggressive type, I didn’t know I was just a big fish in a small pound back in the day,” and added, “I acted as if I knew everything.”
His manager also appeared in the documentary and revealed he did not leave his room for half a year after the controversy. Lucas shared that he’d been keeping in touch with the members and hanging out with them made him feel ‘lonelier’ as he could not be with them.”
Lastly, Lucas dished on the controversy saying, “I feel so sorry I have done a terrible thing, I feel so sorry that I let everyone down, nothing can justify what I have done.” He continued, “Now, my views have changed, I learnt a lot, I realized many bad things about myself.”
