The November comeback just got hotter as WayV has announced their comeback!
On October 28 at midnight, SM Entertainment dropped the 1st teaser for their upcoming 6th mini-album “FREQUENCY” on all social media platforms.
They made their last comeback on June 3 with the 5th mini-album “Give Me That”, and set new personal bests. WayV will release their new comeback album “FREQUENCY” 5 months after the release of 5th mini-album “Give Me That.”
Many notable K-pop acts are making a comeback in November including TXT, Taeyeon, Doyoung, G-Dragon, NCT DREAM, and more.
Their 5th mini-album sold almost 100K copies on its first day of release, marking the fourth highest first-day sales for WayV.
Member Winwin was not of their last comeback due to a scheduling conflict, consequently, SM Entertainment received backlash for not adjusting the schedule.
Fans are looking forward to seeing if Winwin participates in this comeback and follow-up activities.
Last month, they debuted in Japan with their first mini-album “THE HIGHEST.” Overall, it has been a busy day for WayV with back-to-back comebacks and performances.
WayV, an SM Entertainment boy group managed by Label V, debuted in 2019 with the EP “The Vision.” They have since released many hit albums including “On My Youth,” “Kick Back,” “Phantom,” and more.
Meanwhile, WayV has announced a pre-release single, ‘High Five’, dropping on November 19, ahead of their sixth mini-album, ‘FREQUENCY’, which arrives on November 25.
