The ultimate BL cast is coming together!
Playlist Studio, led by CEO Park Tae-won, is partnering with Kakao Entertainment and Fuji TV to produce its first-ever Boys’ Love (BL) drama, “Secret Relationship”, based on a popular webtoon.
As confirmed by Wei and Respect Entertainmet, the upcoming BL drama “Secret Talk” stars Kim Jun Seo from WEi as Da On, Cha Sun Hyung as Sung Hyun, Cha Jung Woo as Soo Hyun, and Kim Ho Young as Jae Min.
Playlist Studio is partnering with Kakao Entertainment and Fuji TV to produce its debut BL drama, “Secret Relationship.”
Based on Kakao Entertainment’s webtoon of the same name (produced by McQueen Studios), this project unites Playlist Studio, Fuji TV (Japan’s leading broadcaster), and Kakao Entertainment (webtoon producer).
The creative team behind “Secret Relationship” includes Jung Soo Yoon as a creator with the script penned by writer: Lee Yoo Jin Soo Yoon.
Director Yang Kyung Hee is known for BL works like “The Director Who Buys Me Dinner,” “Time of Fever,” “Love Tractor,” and “Kissable Lips.”
WEi’s Kim Jun Seo takes on his first leading drama role in “Secret Talk,” alongside Cha Sun Hyung, Cha Jung Woo, and Kim Ho Young, who bring charisma to the webtoon adaptation.
The playlist’s first BL drama, “Secret Relationship,” starts filming on November 9, aiming for a Q1 2025 release. Adapted from Kakao Entertainment’s popular webtoon (170M+ views), it portrays complex office romances with delicate sensibility and a solid storyline.
