Fans were thrilled by Weki Meki’s long-awaited comeback announcement, but their excitement was dampened upon learning about the disbandment.
On June 7, their agency Fantagio revealed that Weki Meki will bid goodbye with their new digital single CoinciDestiny, set to drop on June 12.
After their debut in 2017, the group will make their last comeback and disband after 7 years.
CoinciDestiny is the latest track dropped by Weki Meki after nearly 3 years since their 5th mini album I AM ME released back in November 2021.
The title suggests that although their meeting was by chance, it was destined for the members and fans to unite as one.
The teaser picture showed all eight members happily holding hands and running on a lush green meadow. It hints at Weki Meki’s final farewell and fans do not seem to be ready for it at all.
Lastly, their single CoinciDestiny is set to drop on major platforms on June 12 at 6 PM (KST).
