It’s official: Wonderland has cast its spell on moviegoers! 

The eagerly awaited film, starring Park Bo Gum and Suzy, has finally hit theaters, and the response is nothing short of extraordinary.

Wonderland, directed by Kim Tae Yong, hit theaters on June 5. Starring popular actors Tang Wei, Suzy, Park Bo Gum, Jung Yumi, and Choi Wooshik, this movie shot straight to the top of the box office charts. 

Based on the Korean Film Council’s comprehensive network data, Wonderland drew in a massive crowd of 82,873 viewers on its opening day, Wednesday, June 5. It outperformed rivals like Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga and Following by a significant margin.

According to CGV’s data, Wonderland is winning over audiences of all ages in their 20s (24%), 30s (25%), 40s (25%), and 50s (22%). With the highest reservation rates, Wonderland is gearing up for a successful box office run.

In addition, enthusiastic moviegoers gave rave reviews to the movies and appreciated the passionate performances of the actors.

Wonderland follows the story of reuniting with lost loved ones through ‘Wonderland,’ a futuristic video call service that brings back the deceased using artificial intelligence.
