While 2024 was not as happening due to BLACKPINK’s hiatus, next year looks promising with TREASURE’s comebacks, BABYMONSTER and BLACKPINK’s world tour, and the debut of the new group.

TREASURE

On December 2 at midnight, YG’s chief shared 2025 plans for TREASURE stating, “I think this will be the last time greeting you all in 2024, finally on December 5, we will release a track titled “LAST NIGHT. And in February, we plan to come back with a mini album. In around July to August, we are hoping to release a full album.”

He also announced that leaders for TREASURE will change every two or three years. From January 1, 2025, Kim Junkyu and Asahi will take over the reins from Hyun Suk and Jihoon as co-leaders.

Yang Hyun Suk also hinted at many exciting activities in 2025 that they could not do this year.

They will hold a fan event in March 2023 and embark on a world tour around October. TREASURE will visit many regions beyond Asia to meet more fans.

YG 2025 Plans

YG Entertainment, once again, confirmed the BLACKPINK world tour in 2025. In addition, WINNER will also reunite for a tour next year. Yang Hyun Suk stated that 2025 will be the “busiest year” for YG Entertainment.

Moreover, he hinted at the debut of the new group and promised to provide debut dates and further details at a later time.
