Yoona, the multi-talented K-pop artist, and actress, recently showed her heartfelt support for Judo Player Jeon Yerin as the experienced Judo player clinched the bronze medal in a thrilling match. The news of Jung Yerin’s victory spread like wildfire, and Yoona was quick to extend her warm congratulations to the accomplished athlete.
A popular Judo player won a bronze medal at the Hangzhou Asian Games. On 25th September, the King the Land actress took to Instagram to share a congratulatory message for the accomplished Judo player.
The K2 actress shared a photo of Jung Yerin on Instagram with the caption ‘Congratulations!!! You’re awesome, Yerin’, and hashtags like #Hyori, B&B, and #Cute. In the photo, we see a photo of the athlete with the Korean singer and actress, Yoona.
Many fans found it unusual to see Yoona congratulating Yerin and wondered what’s the connection between the two. Well, it goes all the way back to 2028 when Jung Yerin along with other Judo Club students guested on JTBC’s Hyori’s Bed and Breakfast 2.
Back then, Yoona received a lot of attention for helping run a bed and breakfast with Lee Hyori. In 2018, Jung Yerin and Judo club students were her first guests and that’s where their friendship began.
