The most expensive new idol star goods traded on Lightning Market was an autographed Polaroid of Zhang Hao from ZEROBASEONE, who won first place on Boys Planet.

This item had a super high scarcity value and caught everyone’s attention because of the handwritten signature. It was actually sold for a staggering 1.9 million won through Lightning Pay.

Lightning Market shared the trading trend for new idol star goods from last year.

Star Goods is the second most popular category in Lightning Market, right after fashion. The number of transactions in Star Goods accounts for about 15% of the total trading volume on the platform.

This category seems to be growing steadily each year, thanks to the convenient in-app delivery service and the ability to easily search for star-related items nationwide.

The total transaction amount for star goods on Lightning Market last year exceeded a whopping 70 billion won, which is a growth of around 20% compared to the previous year. The number of transactions also increased by about 15% during the same period.

Fancy/photo cards were the most popular star goods items, making up a whopping 61% of the total transaction volume. Following behind were dolls/figures at 19%, albums/videos at 7%, posters/pictures at 5%, cheering tools at 3%, clothing/fashion accessories at 3%, and other items at 2%.

ZEROBASEONE, with their already established fandom from the audition program, generated a search volume of over 350,000 in just 3 months, from the announcement of the debut members to their official debut in July.

Since their debut until the end of last year, the total transaction amount for their star goods exceeded a whopping 1.3 billion won. The number of transactions reached over 70,000, accounting for more than 10% of the total transaction volume in the boy group category on Lightning Market during that time.
