“Show! Music Core” is gearing up for a major revamp with the introduction of three new MCs!
ZEROBASEONE’s Gyuvin and TWS’ Dohoon will be joining forces with a rising star from SM Entertainment’s newest group, Hearts2Hearts as new MCs.
As reported by Daily Sports on February 7, Younghoon of THE BOYZ, Sullyoon of NMIXX, and actor Lee Jung Ha will bid farewell to their MC roles on “Show! Music Core” on February 15. Meanwhile, MBC has announced that Gyuvin and Dohoon will take the reins as the new MCs.
Heart2Hearts will officially debut on February 24 with the single album “The Chase”. Ahead of their debut, a member of the group has been selected to host the popular domestic music platform.
According to the report, the new trio will officially start their hosting duties together on “Show! Music Core” in March.
Gyuvin previously showcased his hosting skills as a special MC on “Show! Music Core” for five weeks in August. He recently expressed his fondness for the show by using a memorable photo with Younghoon and Lee Jung Ha as his background during a live broadcast. With fellow ZB1 members Sung Hanbin and Han Yujin already thriving as MCs on “M Countdown” and “Inkigayo”, expectations are high for his upcoming stint on “Show! Music Core”.
Dohoon made history as the first artist to host the “2024 MBC Gayo Daejejeon WANNABE” within his debut year. He showcased his hosting skills on the broadcast, which aired on January 29-30. Previously, he also impressed as a special MC on “Show! Music Core” in February and July.
A member of SM Entertainment’s upcoming girl group Hearts2Hearts will join the MC lineup of “Show! Music Core”. Notably, this will mark one of the group’s first public appearances, even before their official debut on February 23 with their single “The Chase“. It is unusual for a rookie artist to take on an MC role before their debut.
Fans and viewers are eager to see the unique chemistry and dynamic the three rookie MCs will bring to “Show! Music Core”.
