I-LAND 2 announced 7 debut members for the new girl group on July 4 in the final episode.
Many K-pop stars from the industry attended the finale including IZ*ONE’s Jo Yuri, Kep1er’s Hikaru and Chaehyun, ZEROBASEONE’s Zhang Hao, Kim Taerae, and Han Yujin.
In addition, ZB1’s Sung Hanbin co-hosted the show along with Jeon Somi.
Before the announcement of the final members, they revealed the girl group name formed through I-LAND 2. The new girl group, produced by THE BLACK LABEL’s founder Teddy, will be called izna.
At the time of the announcement, Zhang Hao had the most savage and witty response to the group’s name.
He was seen saying, “It’s better than ZEROBASEONE.” It seems like the 23-year-old singer is not a fan of the name chosen for their group, ZEROBASEONE.
Fans have been praising him for his honest reaction and loving how he did not hesitate to express his feelings.
On the other hand, 7 members were announced in the I-LAND 2 final for the new group, izna. The new Teddy-produced group includes Choi Jungeun, Koko, Mai, Jeong Saebi, Yoon Jiyoon, Bang Jeemin, and Ryu Sarang.
Lastly, izna is set to make their first public appearance at 2024 KCON LA on July 28.
