December will be an exciting month as many award ceremonies and festivals are happening. For instance, MMA 2025, SBS Gayo Daejeon, and Asia Artist Awards, to name a few.

The event is a special global edition of KBS’s long-running show Music Bank, which has been around for more than 25 years and airs in 142 countries. This year’s festival also carries extra meaning as it is the 60th anniversary of the normalization of diplomatic relations between Japan and South Korea.

2025 Music Bank Global Festival Date

For the first time in K-pop history, artists will perform at the Japan National Stadium, one of the country’s most iconic venues. The runs over two days, December 13 and 14, 2025. It will transform the stadium into a massive end-of-year celebration.

Performers Lineup

Each day of the festival features a completely different lineup, and the cast is huge. The Music Bank Japan lineup includes

Over both days, the festival brings together established stars, rookie powerhouses, and special guests.

Hosts

Lee Jun Young (Mask Girl, The Impossible Heir, and When Life Gives You Tangerines) is taking on a new challenge as an MC for the Music Bank Global Festival. Expectations are high for his first-ever hosting performance, and he will also hit the stage as a singer. Lee recently released his debut mini-album (with 6 tracks), “Last Dance,” featuring double songs.

Joining him is Jang Wonyoung, who has been the face of Music Bank since becoming its 37th MC in 2021. She has already hosted KBS’s major year-end music festivals for three years in a row—2022 KBS Song Festival, 2023 Music Bank Global Festival, and 2024 KBS Song Festival Global Festival.

This year, she returns as the MC for the 2025 Music Bank Global Festival in Japan, her fourth consecutive year leading KBS’s big year-end event.

2025 Music Bank Japan Ticket Prices and Access

Tickets were sold as either single-day passes or full two-day passes. The general sale has already ended, so most remaining tickets are now in the reseller market.

  • Single Day: ¥22,000 (tax included)
  • Two-Day Pass: ¥38,000 (tax included)

There was also a VIP upgrade option, which came with perks like arena front seating and a dedicated entrance.

Broadcast Details

Fans watching from home won’t miss out. KBS will air a special edited broadcast of the 2025 Music Bank Global Festival on December 30 at 8:30 p.m. KST on KBS 2TV.
