It is quite clear by now that Park Bom is a great admirer of Kdrama heartthrob Lee Min Ho.
The 2NE1 member has made fans furious with her latest post on her secondary Instagram account.
On February 12, Park Bom sparked controversy on social media after posting a picture of herself and Lee Min Ho with the caption “My husband.” She had edited the photo to put their faces side by side.
Notably, this isn’t her first brush with the controversy surrounding the “When The Stars Gossip” star. Last September, she posted a picture of him with the caption “My true husband,” leading to rumors that they were dating. Many fans were confused, as Park Bom had previously mentioned Lee Min Ho as her ideal type. It was unclear whether the post was a harmless expression of admiration or something more.
At the time, sources close to Park said she was just a fan of Lee Min Ho and the two were not dating. She deleted the post, but recently started a new social media account and again referred to Lee Min Ho as her “husband”, which got a lot of different reactions from fans.
On February 13, her agency representative stated to OSEN, “In the case of social media, it is difficult to confirm details as it is the artist’s personal space.” They continued, “However, based on previous incidents, we understand that Park Bom has a fan-like admiration for Lee Min Ho, and we are currently investigating the situation regarding the secondary account.”
She is facing massive backlash from fans over her recent actions. A fan union has released a statement calling for her removal from 2NE1 activities.
Her own fans are also expressing disappointment, posting messages like “Stop now,” “Apologize to Lee Min Ho,” and “Please delete this account.” The controversy is especially frustrating for fans of the entire 2NE1 group, who are gearing up for an upcoming tour and Seoul concert.
