After Hyein’s brief hiatus due to a foot injury, NewJeans is now whole again and ready to take the stage.
All five members – Hyein, Minji, Hanni, Danielle, and Haerin – will perform together on a domestic music show.
ADOR has confirmed that NewJeans will perform on KBS-2TV’s ‘Music Bank’ today (July 12). The group will showcase two songs: the title track Supernatural from their Japanese debut single and the additional track Right Now.
Notably, Hyein, who had been on hiatus due to an ankle injury, will rejoin the group, and NewJeans will perform as a complete five-member unit for the first time in a while.
Following their ‘Music Bank’ appearance, the group will continue their promotional blitz with performances on MBC’s ‘Show! Music Core’ on July 13 and SBS’s ‘Inkigayo’ on July 14.
On ‘Show! Music Core’, the group will treat fans to a special medley of their past hits ETA, OMG, and Hype Boy, in addition to performing their latest songs.
Hyein’s injury had prevented her from participating in promotional activities for How Sweet and Supernatural. Her return to the stage marks the group’s first performance as a complete five-member unit since her recovery.
The agency had previously confirmed their goal to stage a five-member performance on a domestic music show.
On another note, NewJeans released Supernatural on June 21, marking a successful debut in Japan. They broke records as the fastest foreign group to perform at the Tokyo Dome (1 year, 11 months).
Their album sales have been impressive, with Supernatural selling 1,021,730 copies, making it their 5th consecutive million-seller album, following New Jeans, OMG, Get Up, and How Sweet.
