On July 12, KBS confirmed that Lee Juck, Lee Yong Jin, Hoshi, and Karina will be joining the regular cast of Synchro U on KBS 2TV.

According to a KBS official, the four celebrities will be part of the show’s regular lineup, while Yook Sungjae, who appeared in the pilot episode, is still in talks to join the program.

Synchro U is a unique music show where top artists perform cover versions of songs, and viewers must guess which performance is almost identical to the original artist’s live performance.

The show’s pilot episodes aired on May 10 and 17 introducing this exciting concept to audiences.

During the pilot episodes, the show’s strengths were on full display, with seasoned hosts Yoo Jae Suk and Lee Yong Jin impressing with their quick wit, while Lee Juck and Yook Sungjae showed their expertise in music.

Meanwhile, the youngest members, Hoshi and Karina, brought humor and energy to the show as the “emotional maknaes” (youngest members).

Following the success of the pilots, KBS confirmed in June that Synchro U would become a regular program in the second half of the year, with Yoo Jae Suk at the helm.
