2024 Lollapalooza Chicago witnessed a K-pop takeover like no other as Stray Kids and IVE brought their high-energy performances to the festival’s stages.
First off, Stray Kids headlined their 3rd overseas music festival in less than a month with a performance at Lollapalooza Chicago on August 2 (local time).
The group performed 21 high-energy songs including S-CLASS, Freeze, Superbowl, Charmer, Maniac, Back Door, God’s Menu, newly released CHK CHK BOOM, and more.
Last year, they became the first K-pop boy group to headline Lollapalooza Paris. Stray Kids continues to achieve career highs as their newest album, ATE, topped Billboard 200. Notably, they set a new personal best on the Billboard HOT 100 with CHK CHK BOOM, securing a spot in the Top 50.
Stray Kids, previously, performed as headliners at I-Days Festival in Milan and the BST Hyde Park Summer Festival in London. They are set to embark on their world tour this month with four shows in Seoul.
IVE has also successfully completed their performance at Lollapalooza Chicago, the largest music festival in the United States. On August 3, the K-pop group took the stage at Grant Park in Chicago, Illinois, and delivered an unforgettable 45-minute set.
The crowd danced and sang along to IVE’s catchy hits including DEAR. CUPID (intro), Baddie, HEYA, Accendio, After LIKE, ELEVEN, Kitsch, LOVE DIVE, All Night, Royal, and I AM.
IVE performed a flawless 45-minute concert, singing 11 songs. They showed no signs of fatigue and maintained their energy throughout the set.
On the other hand, IVE will continue their first world tour, SHOW WHAT I HAVE, with encore performances in Seoul on August 10-11 and at Tokyo Dome in Japan on September 4-5.
