The 9th edition of The Fact Music Awards 2026 wrapped up on September 19 at Busan Asiad Main Stadium. It brought together 17 artists from different parts of the K-pop scene. The awards returned to Korea after being held in Japan in 2024 and Macau in 2025. Awards covered major year-end honors, fan-voted categories, music releases, and rising artists.
NMIXX, RIIZE, CORTIS, and ATEEZ took home grand prizes. The Artist of the Year award recognizes artists who achieved notable results in album sales and digital music during the year. TMA says the award considers 60% album and music performance and 40% judges’ evaluation
ALLDAY PROJECT, KiiiKiii, ILLIT, RESCENE, RIIZE, Yena, and more were among the Artist of the Year winners. CORTIS and ALPHA DRIVE ONE won the Next Leader award. BTS’s songs “Swim” and “Hooligan” were named the Best Music – Spring and Summer.
Other TMA 2026 winners included ILLIT, TREASURE, xikers, PLAVE, tripleS, Lim Young Woong, and more.
