Just like the packed first half of 2024, SM Entertainment has announced plans for an exciting 2nd half of 2024.
On August 7, a new music preview lineup was revealed featuring exciting comebacks and debuts. Several SM Entertainment artists will make a comeback including aespa, NCT WISH, NCT DREAM, Jaehyun, Chanyeol, Key, and more.

In the 3rd quarter, fans are particularly looking forward to the solo debuts of NCT’s Jaehyun and EXO’s Chanyeol. Both are reportedly releasing albums this month, with Jaehyun’s solo debut announcement likely to be made on August 12.
On the other hand, Chanyeol will not only be making a solo debut but also going on an Asian tour next month.
Furthermore, virtual artist nævis, who was officially introduced to the world at aespa’s Seoul concert, will be debuting in the 3Q of 2024.

The comeback lineup for the 4Q of 2024 is equally exciting as many artists who made comebacks in the 3rd quarter will be returning for new music.
Not to mention, EXO’s winter comeback was not included in the lineup, therefore, it seems the highly-awaited comeback was postponed, likely due to the SM-CBX conflict.
Lastly, a new boy group by SM Entertainment will make their debut in 2025.
