RM, the leader of BTS, is about to bare his soul. ‘RM: Right People, Wrong Place’ is more than a documentary – it’s a raw, unfiltered exploration of the highs and lows that have made him into the artist he is today.
CJ 4DPLEX released the official trailer for RM’s debut documentary film, ‘RM: Right People, Wrong Place,’ on November 6.
The trailer begins with the “LOST!” rapper, saying, “Capturing all these things happening to me, by documenting them, and making a record of them.”
He created his second solo album, ‘Right Place, Wrong Person’, to understand himself better. Music helped him find his identity.
He navigated multiple identities to find his true self, saying, “I’d try to see to what extent I could be truly honest with myself as RM, or as Kim Namjoon.”
The 30-year-old rapper also mentioned BTS, saying, “BTS was like that at first, too, that’s why it was tough, but beautiful in its own way.”
The documentary had its world premiere at BIFF 2024 last month and received critical acclaim.
It was an eventful year for RM as he released his second album “Right Place, Wrong Person,” released in May. The album sold over 530K copies on its first day and ranked 37th and 5th on the UK Officials Album Chart and Billboard 200.
“RM: Right People, Wrong Place” releases globally on December 5. Ticket reservations start on November 6, with a second round on November 20. Japan’s reservations begin November 22 and Japanese fans can watch the documentary in theaters on January 3.
