Riding the wave of success from his breakout role in “Lovely Runner”, Byeon Woo Seok’s star power has translated into a staggering increase in his advertising fee, reaching an impressive 1-1.5 billion KRW.
The 33-year-old actor is now on Korea’s celebrity A-list. His advertising fee has tripled in record time, hitting 1-1.5 billion Won, as reported exclusively by OSEN.
He secured his first leading role in Kdrama “Lovely Runner” which proved to be the catalyst for his dramatic rise. Since then, he has partnered with many domestic and international luxury fashion houses.
According to OSEN, Byeon Woo Seok’s advertising fees stood at approximately 400 million won per year when “Lovely Runner” premiered. While already a respectable figure, his earnings skyrocketed after the drama’s massive success.
Today, he represents an impressive 19 brands across finance, home appliances, cosmetics, furniture, and cafes. So far, he is associated with Prada, Tamburins, DASHU, NH Bank, LG Electronics, Physiogel, Clinique, Baskin-Robbins Korea, iloom, Giordano, and more.
His advertising model fee leaped from 400 million won to over 1 billion won in just six months, following the conclusion of “Lovely Runner” in May. Insiders reveal that top-end deals reach 1.5 billion won.
Conservative estimates suggest his advertising revenue has already surpassed 10 billion won, with more lucrative contracts in the pipeline.
Industry insiders predict a substantial increase in his appearance fee for the next project. Having wrapped up overseas fan meetings in the second half of the year, Byeon Woo Seok is now reviewing potential projects to focus on acting again.
Industry predictions suggest guaranteed fees in the hundreds of millions, with per-episode earnings over 100 million won.
On the work front, Byeon Woo Seok will close out the year with a bang at the 2024 MAMA AWARDS. He is slated to present an award on November 22 and take center stage to perform “Sudden Shower,” the iconic OST from “Lovely Runner,” on November 23.
