BTS member Jimin’s solo album “MUSE” has been making waves in the K-pop scene. Released in July, the album has still not left the major international music charts.

The 29-year-old vocalist has hit a massive milestone before the year wraps with his solo album “MUSE“, which has now surpassed 2 billion streams on Spotify. This achievement makes “MUSE” the most streamed K-pop album globally in 2024.

On December 4, Spotify announced that Jimin’s sophomore solo album “MUSE” has officially crossed the 2 billion stream mark. Notably, it is the only K-pop album released in 2024 to achieve this impressive feat. Released on July 19, the 6-track album reached this milestone in 139 days, just over four months.

The “Be Mine” singer made history last year with his debut solo album “FACE”, which surpassed 2 billion streams – a first for a Korean-language solo album. The album has continued to perform well and currently boasts over 2.4 billion streams.

With his second solo album also crossing the 2 billion stream mark, Jimin has become the first K-pop solo artist in Spotify history to have two albums reach this impressive feat.

The lead single “Who” is holding tight at No. 56 on Billboard HOT 100. The song has been a fixture for 19 weeks straight since its release and is expected to chart for more weeks.

The album contains six amazing tracks including a collaboration with Loco and Sophia Carson.

In other news, Jimin is currently serving in the military as an active-duty soldier, with a scheduled discharge on June 11, 2025. ARMYs have to wait a little over 6 months for the group’s reunion when all BTS members complete military service.
