Mark’s solo debut is finally happening in April after many delays. If rumors are to be believed, the NCT member will make a solo debut in early April.
According to an exclusive report by Star News on March 10, Mark is set to make his solo debut with the release of his first full-length album on April 7.
His solo album was previously scheduled to be released in February. However, the release date was later pushed to April 2025. This decision was made by the K-pop idol and his agency, SM Entertainment, to further refine and perfect the album.
Back in December 2024, SM Entertainment announced the delayed release in a statement, stating,
“To improve the overall quality of Mark’s first full-length solo album, originally scheduled for February 2025, we have decided to postpone the release to April 2025.”

The 25-year-old K-pop star has already given fans a sneak peek into his solo artistry with two digital singles: “200”, released in May 2024, and “Fraktsiya“, a collaboration with Lee Young Ji, which dropped in December 2024.
Mark launched his career in April 2016 with NCT U’s debut single “The 7th Sense.” He has since become the most active member of NCT, debuting with multiple units including NCT 127 in July 2016, NCT DREAM in August 2016, and SuperM in October 2019.
In addition, he is the fifth NCT member to go solo after Taeyong, Ten, Doyoung, and Jaehyun. Fans have been looking forward to his full-length album since last year.
Lastly, it is worth noting here that SM Entertainment has yet to confirm Mark’s solo debut date.
