BLACKPINK’s Jennie owned the Coachella stage with her charisma and stage presence.
Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival, commonly known as Coachella, kicked off on April 11, 2025, in Indio, California, USA. The festival, held annually at the Empire Polo Club, features a diverse lineup of musical artists from genres like rock, indie, hip-hop and electronic dance music, alongside art installations and sculptures.
On the opening day, Lisa took the stage and delivered a 55-minute set, which received mixed reviews. The K-pop boy group ENHYPEN sizzled on the Sahara stage on Saturday. On Sunday, April 13 (local time), Jennie took the stage as a solo performed and energized the Coachella crowd with new songs from her album “Ruby”.
She opened the Coachella set with her song “Filter” followed by her hit upbeat tempo pre-release single “Mantra” and collaboration song with Dua Lipa “Handlebars”.
Jennie delivered a heartbreaking performance of “Star A War”, a song about protecting and caring for someone she loves. The 29-year-old singer then performed “ZEN” and “F.T.S”. In a delightful surprise, she was joined by Kali Uchis on the Coachella stage for a goosebump-raising performance of “Damn Right”. The K-pop star expressed her love saying, “I love you so much, Kali, thank you so much”.
Next, Jennie performed “Love Hangover” ft. Dominic Fike, “Seoul City”, “ExtraL” (Ft. Doechii), “With the IE (way up)”, and lead single “like JENNIE”.
During her ending ment, she expressed her emotions, “Now, for almost at the end of the set, I just wanna tell you how magical tonight was, and I love you guys, thank you for coming to my set, I love you Coachella.”
Jennie concluded the set with a performance of “Starlight” and thanked fans, her band, crew, and backup dancers.
Meanwhile, Jennie will perform at the Coachella 2025 stage next weekend on the final day on April 20, which would be April 21: 11:45 AM – 12:45 PM KST.
