Hold up, is this real life?
K-pop sensation Lisa and Grammy-winning pop icons Maroon 5 have joined forces for a new single “Priceless”. Both acts have collaborated with top artists in the past and delivered infectious music.
On Saturday, April 26 (Korean time), Maroon 5 announced their upcoming collaboration song “Priceless” without revealing the release date.
However, it was hardly a surprise for BLINKs and Lilies as they have been hinting at a collab with cryptic teasers since earlier this week. After the official announcement, “Lisa x Maroon 5” is trending on X and social media platforms.
The speculation began when Maroon 5 posted a photo on Instagram featuring Adam Levine alongside a mysterious woman standing in front of a floor-to-ceiling window with a cityscape view. Fans claimed the woman’s silhouette resembles the “Rockstar” rapper, especially after a video surfaced on Lisa’s story showing her lying back with hair and a jumpsuit matching the mystery woman’s attire.
The new single, “Priceless,” was expected to be dropped later this year. Previously, the “Lost Stars” singer mentioned a potential single release by the end of April, with a new album following in the summer.
During his appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, Levine said, “There’s a single coming at the end of the month-ish.”
However, the exact release date for “Priceless” hasn’t been confirmed yet.
As the Adam Levine-fronted group begins work on their next album, BLACKPINK’s Lisa has been celebrating the successful release of her first solo project. Her star-packed debut album, Alter Ego, dropped in February and featured collaborations with major artists, including Rosalía, Megan Thee Stallion, Doja Cat, Tyla, Future, and Raye.
With this album, the Thai-born K-pop rapper entered the Billboard 200 for the first time at No. 7. She then brought these songs to life during her two standout Coachella performances on April 11 and 18.
Meanwhile, BLACKPINK is set to reunite and prepare for their reported June comeback, their first musical release in three years.
