Fans of the hit show “Squid Game” got a big treat at the Netflix Tudum 2025 event. Stars Lee Jung Jae, Lee Byung Hun, Park Sung Hoon, and T.O.P. were all there, giving us a first look at the final season.
The four actors, along with director Hwang Dong Hyuk and actress Kang Ae Sim, began the countdown to the final series of the widely popular Netflix original.
A galaxy of stars gathered at the Kia Forum in Los Angeles, including cast members of Wednesday, Stranger Things, Lady Gaga, Ginny Georgia’s Brianne Howey, and more.
Fans erupted as “Squid Game” veterans Lee Jung Jae (returning as Seong Gi Hun) and Lee Byung Hun (the enigmatic Front Man) walked the red carpet.
In a joint red carpet interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Lee Jung Jae and Lee Byung expressed their excitement and nervousness about the third season.
Lee Jung Jae shared,
When I first read the script, the thing that really surprised me the most was how director Hwang was able to express the character dynamics in such a dramatic and emotional way. I thought to myself, if we have the right cast, and they do what they do best, this is going to be an amazing show, and that’s exactly what happened. We were able to work with the most amazing group ensemble, and I think a great script, a great cast, it’s the result of something you can expect.
Jung Jae mentioned he is really happy with how Season 3 is going to end. He is also super curious to hear what fans will think once they see it.
Besides the star player and the frontman, Park Sung Hoon, Kang Ae Sim, and former BIGBANG member T.O.P (Choi Seung Hyun) also walked the TUDUM 2025 red carpet.
During a red carpet interview, Kang Ae Sim shared her feelings about the show coming to an end, saying
Like a sad movie, leave me.
When asked if they were content with the ending of Season 3
I think we have a finale that everyone will be satisfied with. I thought director Hwang was an amazing artist and director but he is also a philosopher, so I was very shocked with the finale.
During the event, cast members Lee Jung Jae, Lee Byung Hun, Kang Ae Sim, and T.O.P had some fun interaction with the audience. Lee Byung Hun gave a spoiler about the finale, saying
Gi Hun vows to put an end to the game, while the Front Man makes his next big move.
