SEVENTEEN’s Hoshi and Woozi will be the next members of the group to fulfill their mandatory military service, PLEDIS Entertainment confirmed on Tuesday.
On July 8, SEVENTEEN’s agency released an official statement announcing that Woozi will enlist as an active-duty soldier on September 15, while Hoshi will follow on September 16. Woozi and Hoshi are set to complete their service on March 14 and March 15, 2027, respectively.
Both will carry out their final schedules before enlistment, including the ‘HOSHI X WOOZI FAN CONCERT [WARNING]’ and the fan signing event for SEVENTEEN’s fifth full album, Yizhiyu.
After they begin their service, Hoshi and Woozi will be unable to join SEVENTEEN’s group activities in person. However, the agency assured fans that pre-recorded content will help them stay connected with CARATs while they serve. PLEDIS also asked fans not to visit the training camp entrance to ensure the safety and privacy of all soldiers and their families.
As numerous enlistees and their families will be present at the enlistment ceremony, we respectfully request that you refrain from visiting the site in person.

Wonwoo began his military duty as a public service worker on April 3 and is scheduled to complete it on January 2, 2027. Jeonghan was the first SEVENTEEN member to enlist, marking the beginning of the group’s enlistment period last year.
The oldest member and group leader, S.Coups, received military service exemption due to his serious knee injury. Member Joshua is also exempt from military service due to his American citizenship.
Fans have been asked to send their well wishes through Weverse instead of visiting in person. Pledis added, “Please send your heartfelt messages of farewell and encouragement for Hoshi and Woozi through Weverse.”
Hoshi and Woozi join the growing list of SEVENTEEN members who have begun or are preparing for military service.
As SEVENTEEN members reach enlistment age, the group has prepared various strategies to ensure they remain active through special content, pre-recorded material, and individual unit activities. ‘97 liner SEVENTEEN members, Mingyu and DK will likely begin military enlistment in 2026.
Meanwhile, Hoshi and Woozi will open their unit tour, Warning, in Seoul on July 11-13 followed by stops in Busan (July 19-20), Taipei (July 26-27), and more. The duo made their unit debut in March with the single album, BEAM.
