Park Jin Joo is getting married next month!
On October 20, her agency, PrainTPC, announced that the beloved star will be tying the knot with her long-term partner next month. The wedding is set for November 30, 2025, and will be held privately in Seoul. Interestingly, another K-drama couple, Ham Eun Jung and director Kim Byung Woo, will tie the knot on the same date.
According to the agency, Park Jin Joo has “will be tying the knot with someone with whom she has built deep trust over a long period of time.” Her groom is a non-celebrity, and in consideration of his privacy, the ceremony will be a small and intimate event attended only by family and close friends. “We ask for your kind understanding regarding the quiet nature of the ceremony,” PrainTPC shared.
Even after marriage, Park doesn’t plan to step away from the spotlight. Her agency assured fans that she will “continue to greet everyone through her work as an actress.”
It’s a happy milestone for the actress, who has been steadily winning hearts with her warm personality and versatile performances. Park Jin Joo first caught the public’s attention in the 2011 box-office hit Sunny, where her bright energy and comic timing made her instantly memorable. Since then, the 36-year-old actress has built a solid career in film, drama, and musical theater.
She is known for her scene-stealing roles in dramas like Don’t Dare to Dream, It’s Okay to Not Be Okay, and Our Beloved Summer.
Besides that, she is an accomplished musical actress who has appeared in productions such as Red Book and Ghost Bakery. She is currently performing in the 10th-anniversary run of the hit musical Maybe Happy Ending. Earlier this year, she made a cameo in tvN’s cosmic romance When the Stars Gossip.
