According to reports on January 9, Shin Min Ah is currently in talks to star in a new romance drama titled “Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday” (working title). If confirmed, this would become her first project after marriage.
The drama is set in a unique restaurant that only opens three days a week—Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday—and tells a love story between a head chef and a woman. They have a deep, personal connection to the place. Actor Lee Jin Uk is reportedly reviewing the offer to play the male lead, the chef at the center of the story.
Shin Min Ah recently married actor Kim Woo Bin on December 20, 2025, at the Shilla Hotel in Jung-gu, Seoul, after dating for about ten years. Just weeks after their wedding, the couple left for their honeymoon in Spain, as confirmed by their agency on January 6.
Even while on her honeymoon, Shin has shared positive career news with fans. Alongside the new romance drama, she is also set to appear in the star-studded Disney+ series “The Remarried Empress,” which is scheduled to premiere later in 2026.
In the series, she plays Empress Navier, the main character of the popular Naver webtoon on which the drama is based. The story follows Navier after she is unexpectedly divorced by her husband, Emperor Sovieshu, and begins a new chapter by marrying Prince Heinrey of a rival kingdom.
The cast includes Ju Ji Hoon as Emperor Sovieshu and Navier’s ex-husband, Lee Jong Suk as Prince Heinrey, and Lee Se Young as Rashta and Emperor Sovieshu’s mistress.
Lee Jin Uk, who is considering the male lead role in “Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday,” is a well-known actor with a long career. He has starred in dramas such as Sweet Home and Squid Game, as well as films including Miss Granny, The Beauty Inside, and Dark Nuns.
With a new project lined up, Shin Min Ah is starting married life while staying busy with her acting career.
