BLACKPINK’s Lisa, a.k.a Lalisa Manobal, made history at the 83rd Golden Globe Awards by appearing as an award presenter. With this moment, she became the first K-pop artist and the first Thai actor to ever present at the prestigious ceremony.
As a presenter at the ceremony, she arrived wearing a striking black Jacquemus gown and debuted a one-of-a-kind Bulgari necklace.
Lisa wore a black gown from Jacquemus’ Spring/Summer 2026 ready-to-wear collection, titled “Le Paysan,” styled by Genesis Webb. The dress featured a sheer, see-through bodice paired with a matte, softly draped skirt. It featured dramatic cape-like sleeves with statement tassels at the ends. Under the sheer fabric, she wore a simple black tube-top bra, which kept the look daring but clean.
The centerpiece of her styling was her jewelry. The 28-year-old rapper premiered a never-before-seen Bulgari high jewelry necklace from the brand’s upcoming Vimini collection. The one-of-a-kind piece combined yellow gold with black diamond-like carbon.
She completed the look with matching gold rings and wore woven heels paired with tights. Her nails were equally detailed, featuring a clear French tip layered over a red base.
The Golden Globes 2026 aired live from the Beverly Hilton on January 11, attended by top Hollywood stars. It is often seen as the second most important film and television awards in the United States after the Oscars.
Lisa shared the presenter lineup with stars such as Justin Hartley, Luke Grimes, Julia Roberts, Kevin Hart, and Joe Keery.
Her attendance at the Golden Globes is closely tied to her acting debut in season three of HBO’s hit series The White Lotus. The show, released in 2025. It received six nods, including Best Television Drama Series at this year’s ceremony. In the series, Lisa plays an employee at a fictional luxury resort in Thailand. Previously, the BLACKPINK rapper and solo performer became the first K-pop artist to attend the Emmys last year.
She has shared in interviews that acting was a completely new challenge for her, but she felt supported by the cast and crew. Following this success, she is set to appear next in the Netflix film TYGO, starring alongside Don Lee (Ma Dong Seok) and Lee Jin Uk.
On the work front, Lisa’s group, BLACKPINK, will release their long-awaited album this month and continue their ‘Deadline’ world tour.
