The moment millions of ARMYs have been waiting for has finally arrived. Following the completion of mandatory military service by all seven members, BTS has announced their monumental 2026-2027 World Tour, their first headline tour in over four years.
The tour is promoted by Live Nation and is set to be one of the biggest in K-pop history. It spans an incredible 34 regions with 79 announced shows over two years. More dates in Dubai, the Middle East, and other regions for next year will be announced later.
Securing tickets will be highly competitive, so preparation is key. This guide provides every essential detail for your ticketing journey, from the crucial presale registration to the official on-sale dates.
The BTS World Tour at a Glance
The BTS World tour kicks off on April 9, 2026, in Goyang, South Korea, and runs through to March 2027. All seven members—RM, Jin, SUGA, j-hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook—are performing. The tour features a 360-degree, in-the-round stage design for an immersive experience.
More importantly, it includes first-ever headline shows in cities like El Paso, Foxborough, Madrid, and Brussels. Some of the other stops include Lima, Bogotá, Arlington, Jakarta, Melbourne, Sydney, Bangkok, and more.
The Golden Ticket: ARMY Membership Presale
The absolute best way to secure tickets is through the ARMY Membership presale. Here’s your step-by-step checklist.
- Step 1: Secure Your ARMY Membership: You must have an active US or Global ARMY Membership. If you don’t have one, you must sign up by January 18, 2026 (deadline times vary by region).
- Step 2: Register for the Presale on Weverse: Even with a membership, you must pre-register on the Weverse platform. This critical step verifies your eligibility. The registration deadline is also January 18, 2026. This deadline is final.
- Step 3: Ensure Email Consistency: Your Weverse account email must match your Ticketmaster account email exactly. If they don’t match, you will be blocked from the presale queue. Update your Ticketmaster email to match Weverse by the January 18 deadline.
Presale & General Sale Timeline
To help you plan, here is a summary of key ticketing dates. All times are local to the venue. The presale for most shows begins January 22, 2026, but note that a few select shows have their presale on January 23, 2026. General sale for all shows starts on January 24, 2026, via LiveNation.com.
Important Membership Details
- For North America (US, Canada, Mexico): Use your US or Global membership number. If you have both, only your US number will work.
- For UK & Europe: You must have and use a Global Membership number.
- Registration Limits: You can register for presale in up to three cities per region.
- Your “Code”: There is no traditional presale code. Your 9-digit ARMY Membership number (starting with BA) will unlock access.
Ticket Prices and Purchase Platforms
As of now, official ticket prices have not been announced by the tour organizers. They are expected to be revealed when the presale begins.
- Primary Ticketer: Tickets will be sold through Ticketmaster (for most shows in North America, the UK, and Europe) and LiveNation.com.
- General On-Sale: Starts Saturday, January 24, 2026
For shows in Korea, all ticket prices include VAT. SOUND CHECK tickets are available for KRW 264,000 (around $180). GENERAL R tickets are priced at KRW 220,000 (around $150), and GENERAL S tickets cost KRW 198,000 (around $135).
BTS Goyang Shows Tickets
- Presale: Fans in Korea can secure tickets for the three-night Goyang concerts through the exclusive retailer, NOL ticket. Presale opens for ARMY Membership holders on Thursday, January 22, from 8 PM to 11:59 PM (KST). Each person can purchase one ticket per day, with a maximum of three tickets in total. To participate in the presale, you must complete the presale pre-verification on the ticketing website during the designated verification period. Presale access is available to ARMY Membership holders once the presale opens.
- General Onsale Information: General onsale will open at 8:00 PM (KST) on Friday, January 23, 2026. Each person may purchase one ticket per day, up to three tickets total, including any tickets purchased during the membership presale. If a ticket for a specific date is secured during the membership presale, another ticket for the same date cannot be purchased during general onsale. General on-sale tickets will be limited to seats remaining after the membership presale. There may be no tickets available if the presale sells out.
With a SOUND CHECK ticket, fans can attend the Sound Check session before the concert and still enjoy the full show. SOUND CHECK ticket holders are allowed early entry into the venue and must verify their identity at the Sound Check booth to receive a wristband and a special Sound Check pass.
The Sound Check will begin approximately three hours and 30 minutes before the main concert.
Please note that partial refunds will not be issued if the Sound Check session is missed.
What About Resale?
While third-party resale sites may already list tickets at very high prices, it is highly recommended to wait for the official sales. Purchasing from unofficial sources carries a significant risk of fraud or invalid tickets. For reference, tickets for BTS’s last major tour in 2019 ranged widely, with standard UK seats costing approximately £90-£180, while VIP packages cost much more.
