RM, the talented leader of BTS, embarked on a solo journey with his debut album Indigo back in December 2022. The album and its thoughtful tracks showcased his remarkable artistry and musical prowess.

However, despite the album’s undeniable brilliance, it was shockingly overlooked at the MAMA Awards 2023. Indigo deserved recognition as it was eligible and worthy of recognition.

Indigo is a sonic masterpiece that pushes boundaries and explores diverse genres, showcasing RM’s versatility as an artist. The album’s introspective lyrics, coupled with its captivating melodies, resonated deeply with fans worldwide.

The MAMA Awards, known for celebrating outstanding achievements in the music industry, failed to acknowledge the brilliance of Indigo and RM. Despite its critical acclaim and commercial success, the album was inexplicably absent from the nominations.

This omission left RM Stans and music enthusiasts bewildered, questioning the criteria used for selecting nominees.

Music critics opine that RM’s solo album deserved to be in the race for Album of the Year category as well as Best Rap & Hip-Hop Performance.

He collaborated with many acclaimed artists like Anderson .Paak, Tablo, Colde, and more. These tracks could have been easily included in the Rap or collaboration category.

On the other hand, Jungkook, Jimin, V, and SUGA have scored 6, 8, 5, and 1 nominations respectively.
