Zhang Hao from ZEROBASEONE (ZB1) recently shared a BTS song that takes him back to his trainee days. It’s Epiphany by Jin, and it’s part of BTS’ album LOVE YOURSELF: Answer from 2018.
It’s a beautiful solo track that struck a chord with Zhang Hao during his trainee days. The ZB1 member made a special appearance on the popular YouTube show Lee Mujin Service hosted by singer Lee Mu-Jin.
During the episode, Zhang Hao performed their own solo song Always, as well as covers of Taeyeon’s Rain and STAYC’s So Bad. The highlight was when Zhang Hao and Lee Mu-Jin performed a duet of Jin’s Epiphany.
Zhang Hao shared that Epiphany is a song that holds a special place in their heart. When he was a trainee, they came across a video of Jin playing Epiphany on the piano during a concert.
The Always singer was so deeply moved by Jin’s heartfelt vocals that he couldn’t help but shed tears. Ever since that moment, he has aspired to sing this song himself one day.
Zhang Hao actually chose Epiphany as a duet with Lee Mu Jin. The ZB1 vocalist poured his heart and soul into singing Epiphany because it’s a song he wanted to perform for a long time.
