It is officially confirmed that V from BTS will be the male lead in IU’s new song music video and they’ve already finished filming it.
IU filmed the music video for her new album before the exact release date was set. Usually, music videos are filmed during the comeback promotion stage.
But in this case, they filmed it early, probably to accommodate V’s schedule since he is scheduled to enlist in the military on December 11.
V and IU publically interacted for the first time on IU’s YouTube channel last September. V was a guest on IU’s show ‘IU’s Palette’, and they bonded over their love for music.
It has been a while since IU’s last comeback. In 2021, she had three amazing activities with her fifth full-length album ‘LILAC’ in March, followed by new digital singles ‘Strawberry Moon’ in October and ‘Sculpture House’ in December. There haven’t been any music activities from her last year or this year.
Ever since this news broke, fans have been excited about IU’s long-awaited comeback and V’s appearance in the video.
